Well, you might say that the MLM method was a good example of a good way to make money online from home, but what if you still can't afford the startup costs of a good Network Marketing Business or MLM?

In my opinion, the next best thing to make money online would be to do Affiliate Marketing. Basically, what you have to do is setup a website that will cost you about $5-$10 a month to run. Then you will need an Affiliate account, which in most cases is free. There are many companies that will pay you a percentage of each sale generated through your account, and some will also pay you a certain amount of money just for a referral. Also you have some heavyweight companies that are called Advertisers like Netflix.com. This is an Affiliate program that you have to apply for, and is tracked and managed from within LinkShare.com (amongst many others). The site that you build and run can be something that you know a lot about, or it may be a site that is setup like a store advertising individual items in various categories.
